OUUC is pleased to welcome our new office manager, Cathy Ross. Donated funds have made it possible for the Board to fill this much needed position. This position will lighten the load of church staff and volunteers by providing regular assistance with office functions. The tasks will include managing mailing lists, phone messages, letters to visitors, copying and printing, setting up an organized office with an accessible filing system, and more to be determined as we learn how an office manager can help us function.
Cathy is a perfect fit for OUUC. She has good office and computer skills, UU values, and she is not a member of our congregation. Cathy may be a familiar face to many of us through her experience in the office at West Shore UU Church, and her role as an active volunteer at Urban Hope UU Community. She plans to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays starting immediately; and will be supervised by Mary Grigolia. Please say hi to Cathy and introduce yourself if she is in the office when you are at church or call, and offer your help as she gets acquainted with OUUC.
