Sunday Program: The Importance of Shangi-La

In 1937, American novelist, Thomas Wolfe wrote: “The essence of belief is doubt.” At about the same time, British novelist, James Hilton had his High Lama of Shangri-La say: “I have found that doubt is the basis of any profound and significant faith.” To many this might sound like a contradiction.
