How do we talk across the political divide? Braver Angels is a non-partisan organization that facilitates conver-
sations between red America and blue America in which people learn to better understand one another’s positions and find shared values, with one rule: the conversation is not to include any attempt to persuade those on the other side to change their minds (no matter how brilliant you are and how ignorant and in need of correction they are).
