Sunday Program: Democracy as Spiritual Practice

The American Constitution is the second most influential committee report in the English language, the first being the King James Bible. But the Framers’ intent was a blueprint, not Holy Writ. They didn’t know how much they were doing. In our journey to Beloved Community, we are tasked to vote, to dissent when democracy is threatened, and to trust one another, to trust the Love holding us.
