Sunday Program: People of the Why

We are honored to welcome guest speaker Laura Grace Weldon at Olmsted UU Congregation this morning. She discovered OUUC in her early 20’s, and has considered herself as a UU ever since. She is the author of four books, most recently the Halcyon Poetry prize winner, Portals. She was the 2019 Ohio Poet of the Year. Her background includes working as a non-violence trainer, leading abuse survivor support groups, and writing collaborative poetry with nursing home residents.
