DESCRIPTION:In 1937\, American novelist\, Thomas Wolfe wrote: “The essence of belief is doubt.” At about the same time\, British novelist\, James Hilton had his High Lama of Shangri-La say: “I have found that doubt is the basis of any profound and significant faith.” To many this might sound like a contradiction. Join OUUC member Bob Mulkins to explore these and other ideas regarding faith and belief.
