SUMMARY:Religious Exploration for Children
DESCRIPTION:The goal of the OUUC religious exploration program is to provide a safe\, welcoming\, loving environment for religious exploration for children and youth that is grounded in the UU principles\, encourages spiritual and intellectual growth and empowers our children to live our common ideals and develop their individual faith. \nWe offer opportunities for the children and youth to question and learn\, to worship\, to engage in social action projects\, and to participate in activities that promote friendships with peers and adults. \nActivities are designed to match the child’s age\, ability and interest; to understand our religious tradition which focuses on an individual search for meaning\, and to ponder the questions that all religions address. We draw materials from many sources\, including the Unitarian Universalist Association.
