Pagan Studies Group
Tuesday, September 28 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating indefinitely
Paganism — and the 7th principle of Unitarian Universalism, “Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part” — became part of the UU structure in the 1980s. We are the earth-centered spirituality branch, that takes lessons from the earth and all her children and applies them to our lives. This particular Pagan Studies Group explores all the ways that humanity has approached that great mystery over all the times of which we have knowledge. We are open to the church and visitors, because you never know who might need to know what or be able to teach a specialty. One of our favorite examples of learning from others is the Christian who taught us about the Shinto purification ritual.
The Pagan Studies Group explores earth-centered spirituality topics, taking turns teaching and learning. All are welcome to join us.Share this:
