Sunday Services

Our Sunday morning worship services begin at 11:00 a.m. Regular worship services take place each Sunday from August through June (during July, we have informal discussion services).

Following the service in our fellowship hall, we invite you to join us for refreshments and conversation. Potluck lunch is served the first Sunday of each month, and coffee, tea and snacks are always available after Sunday services.

Sunday School classes take place during the worship hour. Childcare is available for babies and toddlers, and religious education is offered for children in pre-school through high school. Our young people usually join us in the sanctuary for the first 15 minutes of worship (which includes a children’s message) before going to their classes for the remainder of the period.

Our choir, the Occasional Singers, practices regularly and usually performs during Sunday services. Our music program also includes guest musicians and singers throughout the year.

Other social activities at OUUC include Circle Suppers alternates every other month between small-group gatherings in members’ homes for food, fellowship and conversation and intergenerational suppers at the church for the entire church community.  Adult enrichment classes are held regularly throughout the church year.  These activities provide an informal opportunity for newcomers and regulars alike to learn, grow, and get to know one another better.
