LCCC Professor Emerita of Religious Studies Cheryl Piper will share information about Islam and welcome your questions. She’ll help separate Islamic religious beliefs from cultural beliefs and open our eyes to the wide spectrum of Islamic believers from Turkey to Indonesia.

UU Sources lift up wisdom from world religions; this winter and spring, we focus on Islam: exploring its origins and expansion; the heart of Islamic teachings; and how to be good neighbors. This is the second of 3 Thursday sessions (Feb. 28, March 28 and May 2nd).
